PTT Radio and ICS Adapter

Description
The Jcord-001 PTT Radio and ICS Adapter creates a
connection between a handheld radio and an aircraft’s
ICS without airframe modification via a U-92/A connector
and a user’s civilian headset/helmet. With the Jcord-001,
the user can transmit/receive to/from the handheld radio
while all user transmissions and received audio from the
handheld radio are routed to all ICS positions.
In addition to in-aircraft use, the Jcord-001 can be used
independently with a civilian headset/helmet and the
handheld radio for continued communications capabilities
in high noise environments. If the civilian headset/helmet
is unplugged from the Jcord-001, the Jcord-001 becomes
a remote speaker microphone for continued handheld
radio usage.

• Currently compatible with Motorola XPR 6000/7000 series and
APX-6000/7000/8000 series handheld radios.
A 12 pin Hirose radio interface connector for future radio interface cables
A 10 pin Hirose intercom interface connector for different aircraft intercom interface cables
• No need for batteries, Jcord-001 is powered entirely by the handheld radio
• Audio inputs and outputs are differential to minimize noise pickup
• Artificial sidetone automatically generated when connected to a civilian headset/helmet
• Independent control of radio mic level and radio to intercom level
• Interchangeable front and rear panels allowing for left or right handed usage
• Removable rear clip, compatible with “Motorola style” remote speaker microphone belt clips
• Dedicated Push-to-Talk buttons
• Lock/Momentary rocker switch for ICS PTT
