Description

The JA71 Dzus Blanking Plate allows the aircraft owner / operator to remove a piece of radio
equipment from the cockpit Dzus rails and fill the void with a compatible sized cover plate. The
Dzus blanking plate keeps debris and dust from entering the instrument panel while the radio is
being repaired. The matching design and color to existing control heads present a professional
look and feel to the instrument panel for customers.

Features

The JA71 is solid 6061-T651 aluminium painted with a baked-on flat black (or grey) urethane
finish to resist scratches and nicks. The rear side is milled out to accommodate switches or a
printed circuit board. Testing to DO160 standards has been carried out on panel sizes ranging
from 1 to 7 Dzus hole high. Other Dzus hole sizes are available up to 30 Dzus hole high.
