Description

The innovative design of the FlexText™ legends permits simple changes to the names of controls
without the necessity of returning the unit to a dealer - or even taking it out of the aircraft!

During manufacturing and test, the luminance of each legend is individually balanced to ensure
uniformity of text illumination across the whole equipment front panel. This means that any legend
may be placed in any location on the front panel without changing the luminance balance.

FlexText legends are compliant with SAE AS7788 requirements for luminance. For most JAC
products, units can be upgraded to NVG compatibility simply by changing the legends.

For the locations on the front panel where an annunciator is required, a dead front version of the
FlexText™ legend is available.

When ordering a JAC controller, the required legends may be defined using the ProCS
programming software (available on our website). One complete set of legends is installed on each
unit supplied and additional legends may be ordered separately. For a current list of available
legends please go to www.jupiteravionics.com (This list is also available within the ProCS™
software programme.) If the legend you require is not listed, a new one may be created at the time
of ordering using the ProCS software.
